Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters later this month and the excitement is at a fever pitch. As is the merchandising. Now we have Light Side and Dark Side ice creams from Brooklyn-based Ample Hills Creamery.
The Dark Side ice cream is described as “an ultra-dark chocolate ice cream with espresso fudge brownies, cocoa crispies, and white chocolate pearls to represent the light still hiding in the dark, waiting to burst through.”
That sounds delicious. I’m sure that many would turn to the dark side to get a taste of this ice cream.
The Light Side ice cream is “a bright marshmallow ice cream with homemade crispie clusters, as well as a smattering of handmade cocoa crispies to represent the dark side still lurking within the light.” Hmmmm. Which to choose? They both sound delicious. Maybe it’s best to go back and forth before making a decision.
They will cost you $36 for a 4-pack. You can place your order online, and shipping will be via Fedex. These flavors come from a partnership between Ample Hills and Disney Consumer Products. I’ll take a 4-pack of both. No matter how the movie turns out, this ice cream is a clear winner.
