Final Fantasy is the biggest game series that Square Enix has made. The demand for more is always amazing. The video game franchise is in its 14th game and recently gamers trying to play the new game have ran into some problems with server uptime.
That stinks because it means that some of the people who purchased the game and were trying it out under their free trial were unable to get online and play. Therefore Square Enix has announced that it will be extending the free trial time for gamers.
The publisher of the game for some reason did not account for the number of gamers who would be attempting to log in and play at launch. The plan is to take the game off-line tonight for emergency maintenance to fix the issue. How could they not know that this would happen? Especially the 14th time out. The server maintenance will be complete on September 4. The additional seven days of free play time is the least they can do.
