Looks like the new Nintendo Wii U has brought the third parties out of the woodwork and they seem strangely unconcerned about Nintendo’s well known dominance as a publisher on its own platform. The Wii U will see some major Nintendo series debuts, including Sony staple Tekken and an exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3 just for Nintendo’s new toy.
And those were arguably the lower profile games, as the launch line-up will also include Batman Arkham City, Darksiders 2, Assassin’s Creed Revelations and, probably most exciting of all, Ken Levine talking. He doesn’t actually mention a game, but we can’t stress this enough, it was Ken Levine. And he was talking. In a Nintendo game reel. Alright, we’ll just come out and say it, maybe it’s okay to be cautiously optimistic. It may be the Wii and the game line-up we wanted, needed and deserved three years ago, but at least it’s here now.
