You might remember that Sony unveiled its new TV lineup at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016 last month. There was a lot to like in their new offerings. Now Sony has finally made the new 4K HDR TVs available for pre-order. Now is the time to check them out and get one if you liked what you saw.
These new TVs can be pre-ordered right now and they will arrive at major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy in March.
These sets promise enhanced color accuracy across the entire range thanks to Sony’s proprietary technologies like the Triluminos Display and X-tended Dynamic Range PRO. They have the ability to play 4K Ultra HD content and support for HDR. High Dynamic Range is going to allow you to enjoy even more vibrant content, and as online streaming services start offering content in HDR, you will be glad you got one of these TVs.
Sony has done some great things with the designs too. These new sets have ultra-thin bezels and some even feature backlighting. They are smart TVs powered by Google’s Android TV platform. They won’t be cheep obviously. The 55 inch XBR-55X850D is priced at $2,499. It will cost you $7,999 for the top-of-the-line XBR-75X940D, 75 inch 4K HDR Sony TV.
