Using quality controllers to play games makes for a much better experience compared to using a keyboard and mouse. There are tons of different controllers available today, and Microsoft’s Xbox controllers have always played nicely with PCs. But maybe you prefer Sony’s Dualshock controller.
Sony’s DualShock controllers don’t play nice with PC. You can download an unofficial tool to get it working, but you may not need to soon.
A recent FCC filing has revealed that Sony could be working to bring the DualShock 4 to the PC. The FCC filing is for a wireless adapter that has the product code CUH-ZWA1U, with the CUH code indicating that they are associated with the PS4. This means that this accessory has some kind of link with the PS4. However, there’s an accompanying diagram of the device that looks like it connects via USB. Interesting.
This has led to speculation that this could be a wireless adapter that you can attach to your PC that will allow you to connect the DualShock 4 controller to it. Right now this is all speculation, but for gamers who have always longed for official DualShock 4 support on their PC, this could be a possibility very soon. We hope so.
