Sonic is back on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in Sonic Lost World. The game was announced back in May and one of the trailers hinted at an October release. And yesterday Nintendo announced that Sonic Lost World would be releasing on October 18 in Europe. October 22 in the U.S.
The game will feature cross-platform play between the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. You’ll be able to create radio-controlled gadgets than can be created and customized using the Nintendo 3DS, which can then be sent to the Wii U console to be used in the game’s co-op multiplayer mode. That sounds pretty interesting.
In the co-op mode you will use these gadgets to destroy enemies and collect items. There is also traditional Sonic gameplay. This one looks pretty fun.
