Over the next few months, you can expect to see developers releasing games on consoles that support better quality graphics, higher resolutions, and more frame rates. That’s just business as usual. But this doesn’t mean that older games will have to look terrible forever. Some of them will be getting some decent upgrades.
For instance, in a recent update that was rolled out to Skyrim and Fallout 4, Bethesda has decided to give both of their games an upgrade. They will now have enhancements so that the games look better while playing on the Xbox One X.
These upgrades include 4K support and also dynamic resolution. Also, the update is free. With the enhanced graphics, it’s almost like you are playing a new game. That’s pretty sweet. But these aren’t the only games that Bethesda has updated. Previously the company released updates for titles like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and The Evil Within 2. So if you own the Xbox One X, these are some of the titles that have been enhanced for the platform. It would be a great time to replay them and see if they feel newer. They certainly will look newer.
