What if when you sent a message to someone, it had a very good chance of going to someone else in your contact list? That would be pretty scary right? That what some Skype users are reporting. They say that after an update in June, instant messages have repeatedly and unintentionally been forwarded to random people in their contact lists.
This means that all sorts of people you know are seeing things that they should not. It might even be ABOUT them. Needless to say, this is a serious breach of privacy.
Skype says that it is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. My advice would be this: If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it. That works for any situation. Especially situations like this. And be careful about everything else you say until this is fixed.
