If you’re looking for a fun game where you can be a master sleuth, the answer is elementary my dear Watson. Frogwares Studios is going to formally unveil the next title in its Sherlock Holmes franchise at the Paris Games Week. Fans of Sherlock Holmes will be very pleased.
It has now been confirmed that the new title is being developed. It is called Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter and it will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year.
We know that players will take on five challenging cases in the new title, where they will be able to free roam in an expansive landscape. There will be fast-paced action sequences with the studio promising an “unprecedented experience” thanks to its unique blend of game mechanics. It also promises “state-of-the-art graphics” that will bring Victorian London to life. It sounds like exactly the game that fans are looking for.
The gameplay will be challenging like any good mystery. In each investigation there will be several suspects and you will have to find out who really did the deed. Every choice will impact the game since Holme’s logic is “overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge.”
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter will be published by BigBen Interactive and should be released in spring of 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
