If you like game-specific headphones, you might be interested to learn that Sennheiser has recently taken the wraps off their latest gaming headset in the form of the GSP 370. The company typically specializes in more audiophile-centric devices, so it’s interesting to see them expand their offerings in this area.
What makes these headphones different from other headsets? Sennheiser says that battery life would be its key selling factor. The company is boasting that the GSP 370 headset will be able to last for 100 hours before it needs another recharge, which means that if you only game for a few hours a day, it should last you around a month, maybe more, before it fully runs out of juice.
The company claims that if you game for 6 hours a week, it could last you for four months though. Very interesting.
Other features include a noise-canceling microphone that can automatically be muted whenever you lift the microphone away from you. The headset will also feature a split, padded headband, and memory foam ear cushions.
The Sennheiser GSP 370 will be priced at $199.95 and is available from Sennheiser’s website. What do you think? Are these the gaming headphones for you? Or are you not interested?
