Seiki Digital has announced the availability and pricing for its 65-inch class 4K Ultra High-Definition television that it promised along with its 39-inch and 50-inch models. The new 4K Ultra HD model (SE65UY04) will be
available in the United States in early December. The price nicely undercuts competitor’s models, so sales should do well.
The 65-inch TV features a panel resolution of 3,840-by-2,160, along with an input refresh rate of 120Hz on a 1080p signal and 30Hz on a 4K signal via HDMI 1.4 standard cable.
The Seiki 65-inch class 4K model has a thin black finish bezel, 64.5-inch diagonal panel, built-in digital and analog channel tuning, USB port for displaying 4K photos via a USB flash drive, and multiple video and audio connections for high-definition video content. The new model will be available in December for $2,999. The 50-inch model is $1,199 and a the 39-inch TV is $699. It might be a good time to buy.
