Apple and Samsung are engaged in a number of different lawsuits, Samsung recently lost a major one in the US where Apple were awarded over $1 billion in damaged from Samsung.
Apple has been going after a number of Android smartphone manufacturers, which include Samsung, HTC and more, and now according to a recent report by the Korea Times, Samsung and Google will be meeting up to discuss the various patents battles with Apple.
According to the report, Samsung’s Shin Jong-kyun, who is the head of Samsung’s mobile division will meet with Google’s Eric Schmidt tomorrow to discuss the issues between Samsung and Apple.
“I will meet Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt on Thursday in Seoul,” Shin Jong-kyun is quoted as saying at a launch event held in Seoul for the unveiling of the Galaxy Note II.
Samsung are obviously looking for some help from Google with their various patent disagreements with Apple, although it isn’t clear as yet on what Google has planned.
