Samsung’s most affordable and most compact mirrorless camera, the NX1000, is available for purchase. It ships today for $700. It was originally set to hit retailers last month and includes a 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, a 3-inch LCD (no AMOLED display) and a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor.
This should be a perfect camera for photographers who don’t need an EVF or higher-end display. If you are ready to take a chance on this one, it’s available in black, white and pink (those last two models also ship with matching lenses).
$700 may seem expensive, but luckily retailers and online vendors are already discounting the it to $649 through the end of the month. It would be a good time to go ahead and get this one.
