Smartphones with larger displays have been around for some time, but up until yesterday, the largest handset that Apple offered was the 4 inch iPhone 5S, but now they have two new larger iPhone 6 models.
Yesterday, Apple announced two new models of the iPhone, the iPhone 6 which has a 4.7 inch display, and the iPhone 6 which has a 5.5 inch display.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note devices have featured larger displays since the first handset was launched, and now Samsung has taken to Twitter to Mock the new iPhone 6 Plus, have a look at the photo below.
The photo references previous comments from Apple, who previously said that nobody wants big smartphones, obviously Apple has changed their mind.
There certainly is no love lost between the two companies, as they have been fighting it out in court over patent disputes for the last two years, and Samsung were ordered to pay Apple close to $1 billion for patent infringement.
The Samsung Galaxy Note has been a very popular device for Samsung, especially for people who want larger smartphones, it will be interesting to see if these new larger iPhone 6 models impact on Samsung’s sales of their Note range.
