The company just revealed a 105-inch curved Ultra HD television that it will be showing at CES, and now Samsung has gone and put a similar giant television on sale, for those who grow tired of seeing their walls. Right now it is only available in China and the Middle East. Obviously it will be super expensive.
The 110-inch UHD television belongs to the same product family as the 85-inch S9 television that launched at the start of this year. The flat 4K-resolution panel is encased in its own freestanding metal frame. Samsung didn’t have much to say about details. We know the size and resolution though.
However, all of the features from its sibling should be here: like upscaling from Full HD to Ultra HD. We imagine that Samsung’s Precision Black Pro technology for a high contrast ratio is included as well, along with a three-way 2.2-channel audio setup, and all of the smart TV functionality you expect. This TV should hit other countries in the next nine weeks. No info about price, but the 85-inch model sells for $40,000 in the United States a full year after launch. So you can expect to pay top dollar. Most of us probably don’t have the wall space anyway. Or the dough.
