The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 only went on sale recently, and now the guys over at the XDA Developers have managed to root the tablet, which means that apps which require root privileges can be installed and opens up installing custom ROMs on the device.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Other specifications in the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 include a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. You’ll also get a 3MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera, HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 7,000mAh battery.
