We have been hearing rumors over the last few weeks that Samsung are going to release a smaller version of their popular Galaxy S III smartphone, the Galaxy S III Mini, and Samsung are holding a press event later today where the handset will be announced.
Yesterday Samsung’s mobile chief, JK Shinn, confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini will be announced today, and then the device appeared online at a European retailer which gave us some more details on the handsets specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini will come with a 4 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the device will feature a dual core 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera.
