We know that the new Samsung Galaxy S II will be available on Verizon Wireless, and the company has confirmed that they will start selling the Galaxy S II smartphone in the US from July 2011.
Verizon Wireless confirmed this to Computerworld, they haven’t actually given an official launch date as yet all we know so far is that the Galaxy S II will hit Verizon sometime in July.
As a reminder the Samsung Galaxy S II features a dual core 1.2GHz processor and a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, it comes with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
Other features include a 2 megapixel camera up front for video chat and an 8 megapixel camera on the back with an LED flash, there is also 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, DLNA,a light sensor, Digital Compass, an Accelerometer, Proximity, Gyroscope sensor, plus a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards.
