If you are still holding on to your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and ignoring the dangers, let this be a warning to you. It is another case of an alleged explosion. St. Petersburg, Florida resident Nathan Dornacher and his family were unloading his Jeep of some purchases made at a yard sale. He left his Galaxy Note 7 inside the car to charge up and when Dornacher returned to his car, it was in flames.
This could have been you.
Luckily, firefighters were able to control the fire, before the fire spread. On Facebook, Dornacher said that while he wasn’t positive that the Note 7 was the cause of the fire, “all signs are pointing that way.” He also said that “Samsung has blown me off after over a hour on the phone this morning. Never called back as promised. Guess it is time to get a lawyer. You had your chance.”
Samsung told local media in Florida that it is aware of the incident and is “working with Mr. Dornacher to investigate his case and ensure we do everything we can for him.” While we don’t know for sure that this was the cause, it sure looks that way. It’s better to be safe than sorry. You need to change your phone if you are still using this model.
