We knew that Samsung was working on a smartphone that fits in right between the Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy Grand 2, but it has remained a mystery. Well, now we know almost all there is to know about the upcoming Galaxy Grand Neo, thanks to a leaked document.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will feature a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also sports a 1.2 GHz quad-core A7 chipset powering the smartphone along with 1 GB of RAM. As for camera, there is a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and the front facing VGA shooter. Storage is 8GB internal memory along with the microSD card slot.
As far as connectivity options, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo includes Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+ (21Mbps down, 5.76Mbps up), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, micro USB, GPS and GLONASS support. However, no LTE or Wi-Fi ac radios built-in. The device measures 143.7 x 77.1 x 9.6mm and is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz customizations on top. The battery is 2,100mAh. It will cost €299 after tax in Europe and will be available in several color options. So, now we know all of its secrets.
