\Samsung has announced that the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha will launch in Canada on the 26th of September, the handset will be available from Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile in Canada.
Bell will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Alpha for CA$145.95 when you take out a new two year contract, you will also be able to buy the handset off contract for $699.95.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features an octa core Samsung Exynos 5430 processor which features a quad core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
Other specifications on the handset include a 4.7 inch high definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
The Galaxy Alpha also comes with front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the device there is a 2.1 megapixel camera, on the back of the handset there is a 12 megapixel camera. The handset features a 1,860 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and Android 4.4 KitKat.
