Although it was previously unannounced until now, the Samsung Galaxy Win Pro has quietly surfaced on the Korean manufacturer’s China web portal today. The Win Pro is a midrange version of its predecessor, the Galaxy Win, but it does sport a nice 4.5-inch qHD display, which is a nice step up from the 4.7″ WVGA display that the Galaxy Win had. So it is midrange with a nice bonus.
Aside from the display, the specifications are for the most part completely identical between the two devices: The Galaxy Win Pro features a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5MP camera, and optional dual-SIM support. Another nice bump up is the 2,100 mAh battery that is onboard, and while there’s no word on internal storage or RAM size, it is safe to assume they’ll be in the same 8GB/1GB configuration as the Win had.
As far as the OS, the Galaxy Win Pro will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Is that a win? We did say it was midrange. If you are looking for a new midrange phone, but haven’t yet pulled the trigger on any, this may be the one for you. What do you think? A winner?
