Roku users have a lot of good content. They can stream their own videos to the Roku set-top box and the company has also secured a number of streaming content providers as well. And now Roku is adding another company to the catalog with M-Go. M-Go is a joint venture of DreamWorks Animation and Technicolor and currently offers 16,000 titles to rent or buy, with 20,000 titles expected to be available by year’s end.
You have to like those numbers. M-Go will have premium placement since Roku’s new home page will link directly to M-Go, making it easy for users to browse and purchase content from M-Go. M-Go offers content similar to what’s available through your cable provider’s on-demand. Newer movies and TV episodes.
M-Go will come pre-installed on new Roku boxes and an update expected to roll out to current-generation Roku devices in October. This is a score for Roku users.
