Fans have been waiting for Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC. In fact, last month the Steam page for Rise of the Tomb Raider was published, indicating that the release of this title on Windows and Steam might be just around the corner. Now Square Enix has finally confirmed the Rise of the Tomb Raider release date for PC.
Just as we thought, the title is arriving later this month. Then it will be time to seriously raid some tombs.
Developers Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software have added several new features to the game, including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution.
Rise of the Tomb Raider for PC will be available as a digital download from Steam, the Windows Store, Square Enix e-store, Amazon and from other major retailers both in-store and online. You won’t have trouble finding it.
The standard edition costs $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition costs $89.99 and comes with a Season Pass and almost all current and future DLC content. If that isn’t enough, a collector’s Edition will also be available for $149.99 that includes the Digital Deluxe edition, a 12 inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of the jade necklace and Lara’s journal all in a steel case. It will be available from the Square Enix e-store. The game will be available for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th, 2016. About time too. I can’t wait to play.
