Rise of the Tomb Raider released last month, and it looks like it did not sell very well. In fact, unless you were a fan and intended to buy the game, you may have never even noticed that it released. It launched with a whimper.
To be fair, it did release on the same day as Fallout 4. It doesn’t help matters that it released exclusively for Xbox One either, which is still lagging behind the PS4. Well, the PC version is coming sooner than we thought.
According to an Amazon listing, it’s releasing on January 29. Before, all we knew was to expect it in “early 2016”. This release should help the title gain some momentum, because right now people seem very uninterested. This game is said to be great however, so maybe it just got bogged down by bad timing. You just can’t compete with Fallout 4 after all. No game can.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is supposed to have lots of tombs, compared to the previous game. Hopefully more people will want to check it out when it hits PC. Assuming it is a good port of course. I guess we will find out very soon. Next Month in fact.
