If you have not yet played Rise of the Tomb Raider, for whatever reason, you will be pleased to learn that the game will be coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass next month. This news is according to a tweet by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb who teased the game’s availability recently.
In March, there will be eight new games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass, and it looks like Tomb Raider has been confirmed to be one of them. According to Nelson, “Next week we’ll post the titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in March. In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here”. And he showed a picture of the game box.
Xbox Game Pass is like Netflix for video games, where for a monthly subscription, Xbox One gamers will have access to a catalogue of video games. Games will be added and removed over time, but while available and when the gamer’s subscription is active, you will be able to download the game and play it normally. It’s a great service.
The release of the game on Xbox Game Pass coincides with the release of the Tomb Raider movie which is set for March 16 2018. Good timing. Lara Croft is back.
