We’re used to hearing about games being delayed but on rare occasions the opposite happens, and it’s announced that a game is going to be released ahead of schedule.
That’s what Capcom has done with the Resident Evil: Revelations release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America. It is going to take place earlier than we thought, which is great news.
Capcom had previously said that Resident Evil: Revelations would be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this fall. The company has now said that the game is going to be out in North America on August 31st for these platforms. In case you weren’t aware, Resident Evil: Revelations takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are on a mission to stop a bioterrorist organization from destroying the world with a rare virus.
Fans will know that the game is actually being re-released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But this version has all of the game’s DLC and updated visuals at 1080p. Capcom also promises more environmental detail and improved creature movements. Resident Evil: Revelations will be priced at $19.99 when it’s released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 31st. It should be a much improved game.
