Let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of great games available on the Windows 10 Store right now. Luckily, Microsoft has been working hard to fix that problem. Some of its own titles have been released on the store and now it’s working with other publishers to increase the collection.
Capcom today confirmed the Resident Evil 7 Windows 10 Store release. So that is another game that will be available. The game will be released there as well as on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Up until now, the biggest game to hit the Windows 10 Store is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. So Resident Evil 7 is going to be a good addition to the lineup. Fans of the series certainly won’t mind. The Resident Evil 7 Windows 10 Store release is going to take place alongside its release on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Windows 10 Store and Xbox One version of the game will share saves across devices and will be able to provide up to 4K resolution on compatible machines. It will also have support for HDR on the Xbox One S.
This new game takes the franchise into first-person, so it is a unique take on the series. Resident Evil 7 will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10 Store on January 24th, 2017.
