Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is going to be free to play this weekend. It will be open to all platforms for a few days only, which will be plenty of time to put the game through its paces and decide for yourself.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is going to be free to play starting Thursday, February 2nd through Sunday, February 5th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. So now is yourchance to try it before you buy it. The free weekend will provide players with access to all of the maps, modes, and Operators that are present in the full version of the game.
This way players get the full Rainbow Six Siege experience. Keep in mind that it will require PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions to play the game on these consoles. This free weekend is scheduled just prior to the release of Operation Velvet Shell, the first major content update for Rainbow Six Siege. That will be released on February 7th and will bring a new map and two new Operators of the Spanish special forces. So it is a good time to play it.
