PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a popular title that hasn’t been available on a major gaming platform since it’s launch. The game is available for PC and Xbox One but sadly not on PlayStation 4. However, that may change soon, as it looks like the PUBG for PS4 release may not be far off. The PS4 release of the title has been rated by the Korean Game Rating Board which would indicate that the title might finally be making its way to the PlayStation 4. It is about time.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was first released for PC in March of last year. Then the game was published for the Xbox One in early access as a console exclusive which is how it remains to this day.
Some reports suggest that PUBG has sold more than 8 million copies on that console alone. PUBG has also arrived on mobile as well, available on both iOS and Android. PlayStation 4 is the only major platform that doesn’t have the game yet, the Nintendo Switch notwithstanding.
We don’t know what features and maps would be included in the PUBG for PS4 release. We also don’t have any possible release date, but if Microsoft’s console exclusivity was for a year, it’s possible that PUBG for PS4 might arrive by this December. That would be awesome.
