No doubt you have been enjoying your shiny new PS4 and gaming for hours on end. The Sony PS4 has been selling extremely well, even if it didn’t have a perfectly smooth launch, with some units experiencing the Blue Light of Death. Well, most units are just fine and now we have news that the first system software update for the PS4 since it was officially launched will be available later today.
This update is version 1.51 and it is a minor compulsory update that we will all be grateful for since it will make the entire system a lot more stable. In this update, some additional improvements are minor refinements to the system UI. For instance you will have a clear indicator of when you are downloading a game and a game patch simultaneously.
For those of us living in North America, the console also features automatic downloads for system and game updates by default whenever the PS4 is in stand-by mode. You see, this patch didn’t take long to get here and now the system will be much more stable, allowing you to game with ease for as many hours as you like.
