Polycom have today unveiled a new tablet enterprise video conferencing application named RealPresence Mobile, that is capable of making 16 connections at once and allows you to swipe in documents and images for everyone to view.
The new RealPresence Mobile video conferencing app has been specifically designed for businesses to provide high-quality video conferencing between tablet devices and has been built on the Polycom RealPresence Platform.
Even though the new Polycom video conferencing app, allows 16 calls at once to connect the restrictions of the tablet screen means that half a dozen or so are really only practical as a video conference at the current time. Supporting firewall traversal and VPN clients so you can easily join a conference from any Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G network.
The new Polycom RealPresence Mobile video conferencing app will be available to download for free very shortly for iPads and Android tablet devices such as the Motorola Xoom and Galaxy Tab.
