If you weren’t sure how they were going to further milk Pokémon franchise for all it is worth, let us help by pointing out that the Pokémon Company has made an announcement about the Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions concert series.
This is a bunch of orchestral performances performing Pokemon themes and such, from all your favorite games. The Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions concerts are scheduled to debut on August 15, 2014 to the delight of Pokemon fanatics everywhere.
It will first show up at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. There is no revealed set list right now, but I’m sure we can expect music from all of the main series titles for sure. The event will also double as a movie, since the Pokémon Company decided to employ the talents of creative producers from Symphony of the Goddesses. I’m sure that the orchestra will play many different pieces from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow as well as Pokémon X and Y. They will do so while showing visuals from the games as well as drawings and other videos. Pokemon fans will certainly be in for a treat during the concert. Maybe some actual Pokemon will show up too and you can catch them. You never know.
