The Pokémon Company and mobile game developer DeNA have not yet announced a date for their upcoming mobile game’s release, but it looks like it could arrive on your phone soon. They’ve now opened pre-registration for Pokémon Masters on Android and iOS devices. The Official Pokémon Masters Channel has also uploaded six new gameplay videos so you get to know the game.
The game brings back trainers like Brock and Misty, and you are on an island where you’ll have to collect badges and train to compete in the Pokémon Masters League. The new videos will show you a preview of the Story Mode and how to evolve monsters in the game. You also get a glimpse of how cooperative play works, and how to switch between sync pairs which are trainer-monster pairs that travel together during battle. They also show you how to add new sync pairs to your team and more.
Pokémon Masters will be officially available this summer. A special preview version is already available in Singapore on supported Android devices. The preview version will hit Canada very soon. And no worries, any progress you make during the trial period will be saved and carried over to the full game when it is available.
