People are still playing Pokemon Go, but now there’s going to be a new Pokemon game for smartphones. One was just launched by The Pokemon Company for iOS and Android.
The company is calling this game Pokeland and it has only released it in limited beta for players in Japan. Hopefully the rest of us will get it soon.
Pokeland isn’t a Pokemon Go sequel. It’s a different beast. Pokeland is an entirely different kind of game. Players fight with monsters across various levels and the game is eventually going to have 134 Pokemon across 54 levels on six different islands. The game currently allows beta players to access the first 15 levels only. It sounds like a winner.
Ambrella developed this game for iOS and Android. You will need an internet connection to play this game and you can use their Nintendo Account to sign in. Pokeland is only available in Japan for the moment. The beta ends June 9th so we will see if Pokeland is released internationally after that. I know that many fans would love to play it and I’m sure a global release would make them a ton of extra cash. I guess we will see what happens.
