By now Pioneer should be a name that you trust implicitly when it comes to audio. Their latest is a remixing tool. The RMX1000 has companion “Remixbox” software an studio-friendly VST / AU functionality that lets you make music the way you want it.
The software even lets you overwrite the song with your own, and there’s an SD card slot so you can leave the device at home and still bring your settings to the club. It looks like pro DJ settings will be available for download and you get four effects: Scene, Isolator, Release and X-Pad.
It features a pair of RCA and 1 / 4-inch plugs for in-and out-put, USB and a MIDI hook-up. It will arrive in June for $1000 for those who are musically inclined.
