Hammacher Schlemmer has unveiled a new edition to its range of products in the form of a new Wireless Smartphone Photo Printer, which requires no ink cartridges.
The new wireless printer supports both Android and iOS devices and will wirelessly connect to both, but also includes a 30 pin iOS connector on the top.
The new wireless smartphone printer measures 7″ L x 6″ W x 4″ H and is capable of printing borderless 4 x 6″ photographs at 300dpi, without the need for ink cartridges.
The printer uses a similar technology to the popular Zink printers, the paper used by the printers is already embedded with yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals, which are then heat activated.
The new Wireless Smartphone Photo Printer is now available to preorder for $220 and shipping will commence on October 15th.
