Brush your teeth kids, otherwise you may not have them one day. To help, Philips has announced its first connected toothbrush for adults. The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected uses Bluetooth and sends data to the Philips Sonicare app that allows you to track brushing in real-time.
The idea is that the app will reveal trouble spots and guide you to a much cleaner mouth.
The Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected brush uses smart sensor technology that tracks brushing location, pressure, and scrubbing, to see if users need to change their brushing behavior. The brush even has a Touch-Up feature that tells users the spots that they missed after brushing so that they can go back and make sure they have done a good job. All of the data is stored in the handle.
The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected will be available for purchase by mid-July for $199. It’s expensive, sure, but if it helps, you may be saving money at the dentist office. Believe me, that guy does not need another new yacht or a fancy new beamer that your teeth have paid for. It’s better just to take care of your teeth and not give that guy any more money.
