Samsung and LG’s 4K OLED TVs have been pretty successful and consumers are enjoying their performance. I guess that is what made Panasonic take the plunge to come out with one of its own. The company has unveiled a new 65 inch 4K OLED TV as part of its IFA 2015 announcements. This big-screen TV comes almost two years after the company decided that it would no longer make plasma televisions.
We aren’t going to debate which is better. Instead we are here to tell you that Panasonic’s new TV goes by the model number TX-65CZ950. It is a 65 inch curved screen set that has been given a seal of approval by Hollywood. That’s because the company used the close links that it has formed with Hollywood through its LA-based laboratory to develop this 4K OLED TV. I guess that means big budget flicks will look amazing on this TV.
It comes with move-friendly processing features like support for HDR technology and the picture quality has been certified by THX which makes it the first 4K OLED TV to actually have that certification. Sounds pretty nice huh?
Panasonic hasn’t yet revealed a price point for the TX-65CZ950, but I think we can guess that it won’t be cheap.
