Blizzard’s latest game Overwatch is expected to be released in Spring 2016,so we have a while to wait still. In the meantime if you want to try the game for yourself, this weekend is your chance. Blizzard has announced that they will be having a beta weekend. Hopefully you can get playing.
There’s always a catch right? Yep. The beta is invite-only, but you can opt-in if you want. To opt-in, all you have to do is log into Battle.net, go to Profile Settings, and click “Overwatch” as being the beta you’re interested in. Opting in does not guarantee you a spot, but it does give you a chance to be selected for an invite. Good luck. I hope you get in.
Blizzard says the beta will be more of a stress test.
“Since this is a stress test, we’re primarily interested in your technical feedback, like how Overwatch runs on your system, your experience with the beta servers, critical bug reports, and other game-impacting problems. One of our goals is to push our hardware to the limit, so don’t be surprised if you experience performance issues or run into unexpected downtime—that’s all part of the process.”
The beta will be from November 20th until the 23rd of November.
