The Ouya Android powered gaming console is now being shipped out. It launched with 481 titles and is available for only $99. It may not compete with the likes of the PS3 or Xbox 360, but it is carving out a niche for itself. You get alot of gaming for your money.

To celebrate the shipments of this console, the folks at iFixit got their hands on a unit and proceeded to do what they do best. Tear into it. Their teardown reveals that Ouya is actually very easy to repair. It gets a 9 out of 10 on their Repairability Meter.

Only standard head screws are holding the unit together, and the only moving part inside is the fan. Good news if you need to repair it. Even the fan is an off the shelf part that can easily be replaced.
