OoVoo Video Chat Apps Updated With Simultaneous 4-Way Connections

OoVoo has this week rolled out a new update to both their Android and iOS applications, which has added support for 4-way simultaneous video chat connections.

On Apple devices the 4-way video chat is only supported on the iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and new iPad, and on Android its supported on selected devices with more being added on a daily basis.

“View 4 friends on 1 screen – now for iPhone 4S, iPad2 and new iPad users. ooVoo lets you video chat with up to 12 Facebook and ooVoo friends, text or make phone calls in exceptional quality for FREE!”

Other new features added in the update includes, text chat during a video call, support for push notifications, tracked history for video and text chats and the ability to start a new chat from the IM tab. With 12 users enabled you can’t see everyone at once on your screen but can easily swap the four to suit.
