Many of us are still waiting for Asus to release their Eee Keyboard PC, now another company called Norhtec is releasing a keyboard PC, the Gecko Surfboard.
The Norhtec Gecko Surfboard is a full sized QWERTY keyboard with a PC inside, processing comes in the form of a 1.0GHZ Vortex86MX system on a chip, and it also has integrated graphics and audio.
Other specification on the Gecko Surfboard include 512MB of DDR2 RAM, an SD/SDHC card or and optional IDE 2.5 inch hard drive for storage, plus VGA and composite video out.
Connectivity comes in the form of 10/100 Ethernet, optional 802.11 b/g WiFi and option WAN (3G_, there is also two USB 2.0 ports, and one serial port.
The Norhtec Gecko Surfboard Keyboard PC comes with a choice of either Linux or Windows XP as the operating system, prices star at just $99 for the Linux version and about $149 for the Windows XP version.
The Norhtec Gecko Surfboard Keyboard PC will go on sale in January next year.
