An official reveal of Nokia’s new Windows RT tablet, codenamed Sirius is right around the corner. The tablet, and Nokia’s rumored phablet, the 6-inch Lumia 1520, codenamed Bandit, should be announced at an event near the end of this month. And now we’re seeing it pictured again with some new info.
The device will have a 10.1-inch 1920×1080 display, with a Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, with 10 hours of battery life, and it will be running Windows RT. The rear camera spec is now listed as 6.7MP. The price is still expected to be $499, which is in the high range for an RT device. I mean some full Windows 8.1 hybrids are showing up at $349.
The Nokia tablet is expected to have a multi-function cover with keyboard and additional battery life. We can expect an official announcement on or around September 26th.
