Much like Batman in his last movie, Nokia….Rises. Earlier this year, Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop, announced that he wanted the company to hit a 10% market share in the US. That has not happened yet, however they have accomplished that goal in the UK, with an 11.5% market share in the enterprise market.
The goal now is to hit a 20% market share by the end of 2013. Nokia’s director of business sales for UK and Europe, Adrian Williams says, “Our market share with Windows Phone has grown from 0% to 11.5% in the last 18 months. Our ambition is to reach 20% by the end of 2013 as our momentum increases, which would position Nokia as number two in market share.”
That is quite a goal to set, but maybe Nokia will be able to hit those numbers.
