I’m not a Battlefield 4 guy. I prefer Call of Duty games. So I don’t know first hand just how buggy EA’s Battlefield 4 is, but we have all heard the reports. EA’s VP actually admitted it himself while promising to ensure that future EA games will be thoroughly tested for the best experience possible.
Well, EA does seem to be taking these bugs pretty seriously as they have released a statement to Kotaku, saying that future Battlefield 4 DLCs will not be released until they have worked out the issues that they are having with the game first. In the meantime, EA will be releasing the Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack since they had already promised gamers a release date, and the expansion was already in the final stages of development anyway.
EA’s statement reads, “We’re not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right.” On one hand, Battlefield 4 players will be stuck with the same content for a while, but on the other, anything new should be quality.
