Gamers are not just guys. Girls game too. And they are just as good as the guys. Some are even better. They need more attention from the big names in gaming. Well, Nintendo is here for them and has launched a YouTube channel called Nintendo Girls Club. Obviously it will be focused toward female gamers. No boys allowed.
The videos seem to focus on Nintendo 2DS and 3DS titles and will include commercials featuring female celebrities, like Kim Cattrall of Sex and the City. The channel will also feature UK TV soap opera star, Jorgie Porter, who will be the channel’s main presenter.
You will also see YouTube vlogger Mandy Hynes. It’s a good move by Nintendo and it may just be the community that girl gamers have been looking for. As long as those gamers are fans of Nintendo at any rate. Nintendo has made many mistakes lately, but this is a smart move. Too many gamer girls are made fun of by the opposite sex and need some respect. Good job Nintendo. Girls will be all over this as long as it is entertaining.
