Arnold Schwarzenegger will always be known for the Terminator movies. Years after leaving the franchise, it has been confirmed that he will be returning in the new movie.
Now it has also been confirmed that Linda Hamilton is returning to the Terminator franchise as well.
James Cameron is producing the new Terminator movie. It’s the first time he’s been involved in a Terminator movie since 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Tim Miller (Deadpool) will be in the director’s chair. Cameron confirmed at a private event that Linda Hamilton is returning to the Terminator franchise. The movie itself is based on a story created by Cameron. Hopefully it will be better than Terminator Genisys.
This is great news for fans of the franchise. We don’t have any details about the story just yet, but Cameron and Miller are reportedly treating it as a direct sequel to Cameron’s Judgment Day. Definitely a good move there.
“We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it,” Cameron said. After several duds, they need this Terminator movie to work. Lets hope that it is as good as the originals.
