Multiplayer games are great, but sometimes you want to stay playing with awesome team members and not get a new team next time. Sometimes, like in World of Warcraft, you team up with random players in dungeons, and have the option of continuing to run more dungeons keeping the same players.
Well, it looks like a similar feature has been introduced to Overwatch’s PTR.
Patch notes says, “Added a ‘Stay as Team’ feature, which allows players to remain grouped with their teammates after the match has ended.” Players who like solid teamwork are going to love this new feature. When chemistry and team dynamics are good, you just want to keep playing together, and now this feature will let you do that. More games should use this method.
You could always add them as friends and form a new game, but with this option there’s no need to lose the momentum. This feature is only available on the PTR at the moment, but it should soon find its way to the main game after the patch has been rolled out. We don’t know when exactly. Blizzard’s website gives you instructions to get the PTR up and running on your computer.
