We have been hearing rumors for a while that Apple may release a new iPad Mini without a Retina Display, although according to a recent report by the WSJ, Apple ha decided that the new iPad Mini will come with a Retina Display after all.
The Retina Display in the new iPad Mini is expected to be supplied by Samsung, and also by Sharp and LG display. Apparently Apple had originally decided to use only LG and Sharp for the display, but have now included Samsung in order to meet potential demand for the new tablet.
There are no details as yet on what other possible upgrades the new iPad Mini will get, we can expect at least a faster processor and more RAM. Also there are no details on whether we may see the updated iPad Mini later in the year.
